I am the Executive Director of the Peninsula Shepherd Center in San Diego and am so excited to be a part of this organization and network! As a new Director I appreciated the information and guidance that SCA provided. Our mission at The Peninsula Shepherd Center is to keep seniors independent and active in their homes by providing transportation and socialization opportunities. We are the only senior center in our area and our services are vital. As we all know, the senior population overall is under-served and knowing that I have resources available with SCA is a great comfort as we embark on creating new programs. It has been so rewarding working with our seniors and seeing the bonds they have created in spending time together. The future looks bright!
