Burge really puts birds first and makes many sacrifices for the sake of birds. I am states away, but have been following this rescue and the dedicated runner of the rescue, Julie Burge, for years. I really admire all her hard work and dedication and fighting spirit.

A rescue that genuinely cares for the animals that they take in big or small. No one is a price tag, all the animals are beings worth every bit of care they need. This rescue has really restored my faith in humanity. Even a budgie will get surgery if it needs it no matter how costly.
