The connections made. The service of amazing volunteers. The growth in providing for others less fortunate is a heartfelt and humbling expression of being presence in the moment-showing love for another. On September 8th at AFYA we had 30+ volunteers helping to sort, package and label the medical and hygiene supplies needed for victims of Hurrican Dorian. As the positive energy attracts positive energy, I was reunited with a friend whom I had not seen in over 15 years. And yes there she was helping, volunteering as the servant leader she is. The connections VNY! continues to have are all so valuable. They are priceless! Thank you VNY! it's my pleasure to serve as the Board Chair and more importantly to be a servant leader who loves to volunteer because of you VNY! Awesome experience which far exceeded my expectations! #911DAY!
