Review for Pug Hearts Houston Pug Rescue, Alvin, TX, USA
I first learned of PugHearts in early 2008, when I adopted two pugs they had rescued. Since then I have adopted five more and become involved with the organization as a volunteer and donor by helping to coordinate the annual gala and fundraiser, "Pugs on the Bayou." PugHearts is an amazing group of people who volunteer countless hours doing the challenging work of rescuing dogs in need and getting them the medical care and loving experiences in foster homes that they desperately need to heal and find the right forever homes. PugHearts truly lives up to it's motto of doing whatever it takes to care for "Any Pug, Any Age, In Any Condition, Anytime!" Even when some of the pugs come into the rescue too late to be saved, PugHearts will do everything possible to make sure they are treated and shown nothing but love to the end. I have huge admiration for everyone in this group whose dedication and hard work - doing intake, transporting dogs from all over the region, providing medical treatment, fostering dogs in loving homes, processing adoption applications, donating funds, conducting community outreach - all contributes to allow PugHearts to rescue so many dogs since beginning in 2007. Kudos, PugHearts!
