My Name is Erika Ellis the parent of E’Lontae Favors . He was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor at the age of 2 . We were introduced to KKC during our hospital stays . It took me a while to go check it and I’m so happy I did.
We joined when he was 6 now he is 9 not a long time but the time we have been there it’s been nothing but a great, caring and loving place. KKC has taught my children never to give up and to keep going no matter what especially through pain. Before KKC E’Lontae would come talk to me about other children and ask me why are they mean , why they don’t like me , why they talk about my head ... He wasn’t sure and didn’t want to go back to school. But since KKC he was able to see and connect with other kids like him and that made him feel better . So KKC has not just a program it’s a place where you can go and feel loved and be who you are. I am so Thankful for them and the things they have done for my family and I.
