Review for Global Links, Pittsburgh, PA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Congratulations to Global Links, the role model for other organizations who wish to become expects in the areas of medical equipment procurement and distibution that saves lives while protecting the environment. I have volunteered in under-resourced countries as an OB/Gyn physician and have witnessed lives saved with sutures, gloves and medical equipment donated by Global Links. Children and adults breath easier with donated nebulizers that have made the difference between life and death. Twenty years of service to both local and global communities have been the unwavering committment of the Global Links management, staff and volunteers.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Latin American countries and Swaziland in many hospitals and clinics.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

promote current programs that continue to be overwhelmingly productive.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the positive energy of the volunteers.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

assets to an organization that represents service without compromise.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

increase the number of clients served, help other non-profits develop and implement like services that are efficiently run and maintain a focus that preserves the environment for future generations.

Ways to make it better...

If I had involved Global Links in many of my earlier missions

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the degree of global need.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Global Links has been practicing "the greening of American" as well as other countries for twenty years.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

Role:  Board Member & I initially volunteered to sort equipment. Global Links supported my medical missions in South Africa allowing me to perform multiple needed surgical procedures.
