I am one of the core volunteers at Community Seva. What started as a simple volunteering experience with them has become a regular weekend routine I look forward to in my otherwise mundane day to day life. It's not an exaggeration when I say our family plans our weekends ,travel plans etc. based on my commitments with Community Seva. There is no doubt the job is demanding -we have to put in a lot of effort week after week with planning, procuring and doing the massive cooking in the hot kitchens in the shelters.But the joy we get when we feed the hot scrumptious meals to hundreds of homeless individuals make us forget all our hard work.Not a week goes by without those people coming and thanking us for the Quality and quantity of the nutritious meal we provide. Way to go Community seva. I am really proud and feel blessed to be part of this wonderful organization whose only mission is to 'Feed the Hungry and Serve the Homeless'.
