Friendship Bridge is a nonprofit that gets women on their feet financially, while cultivating courage and knowledge through microcredit and the education it requires to have a successful business. Through financial success, women gain independence and self-worth including other women in their communities. Friendship Bridge doesn't stop there and provides a healthcare program for the women involved in their microcredit program, providing preventative healthcare and subsequent treatment for women that need further assistance.
