In the midst of a particularly challenging year, Bpeace has been a beacon of purpose and belonging. I feel like I've taken more than I've given - that the community of Skillanthropists has been an uplifting and inspiring force in my life. Like everyone, Bpeace has pivoted its work, but has been unwavering in its mission. That makes Bpeace a truly great non-profit.

The entire culture of Bpeace is designed to make volunteering one of the most rewarding experiences I've had. There's great clarity about mission and purpose, a lean organization that keeps typical non-profit bureaucracy from creeping in, and a set of highly skilled and passionate volunteers (Skillanthropists) who are committed to making a real difference. "Skill-based" volunteering has become a buzz word, but its the foundation of Bpeace. I feel elevated by Bpeace - surrounded by people I admire doing work that makes a tangible difference in struggling communities.
