I received many grants from EPAK in my teaching career, and I know firsthand how important this unique funding source is for teachers in East Palo Alto. EPAK funded math projects, science experiments and field trips for my students, making their middle school experience much richer. When I retired I was happy to join the EPAK Board and do my best to keep supporting teachers. EPAK's sharp focus on meeting student needs by listening to teachers is one-of-a-kind.

EPAK's twice-a-year grants for a wide variety of classroom and educational needs are every teacher's dream. EPAK's grant guidelines and application process are simple and clear and the whole process takes very little time. EPAK funds what teachers want, from supplemental curriculum to field trips. EPAK grants have enriched my classroom instruction, and my students' learning experiences.
