Jack is our second rescue lab from Lab Rescuers. This non-profit cares for its labs with exceptional attention. They go to all lengths to ensure that each dog gets the medical and emotional care that it needs and doesn't place a dog until it is ready to transition to its forever home. For each adoption, my husband Christian and I were impressed by Lab Rescuers due diligence in assessing the suitability of a home and the prospective adopters for a dog of interest. They go the extra mile to ensure that the match is right for the dog and for the adopting family. Jack is every bit of how Lab Rescue described him, and more. WIth our first dog, Nick, and now with Jack, not only did we gain our forever dogs, we gained forever friends. First Nick's foster family, and now with Jack. The entire Lab Rescuers team, and especially Jack's foster - Melissa - are helpful, responsive, and clearly care about making great matches. It's a great community of people. If you're interested in adopting a rescue lab, you couldn't find a better organization. They provide all the documentation and information that you need to help you and your lab get a good start together.
