Girls Rock! DC continues to be one of the best local organizations that supports, empowers, and educates young people in the city! I have witnessed this organization grow and thrive under its current leadership staff and team. And I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this amazing org!

Girls Rock! DC continues to be cornerstone in the local DC community. Even during a pandemic and uncertain times, they were able to adapt and still provide leadership skills and music education opportunities for young people across the District through a virtual summer camp (and an amazing showcase!). It's refreshing to see an organization live its values so authentically and fully. Looking forward to their continued virtual programming for youth, at least until we can get back to in-person rocking out!

Girls Rock! DC's work uniquely combines youth leadership development and empowerment through music/arts/activist education. It offers a much-needed space for young people, especially cis-, trans-, and gender non-conforming youth to build confidence, create community, and build friendships that will last a lifetime. With its 10 year history, I often meet people in the community who are former campers or volunteers. A truly community-driven organization!
