It is my biggest honor to write my personal review about the outstanding HARMONY FUND!
I started to care about countless forgotten street animals in a Turkish community back in 2010 after becoming aware of their unimaginable big misery during a vacation there. It broke my heart to see how locals mistreated and abused the voiceless felines in Avsallar instead of helping or at least leaving those alone. I thought that I could change their lives for the good all by myself and tried to but by the end of my second year had to painfully realize that it had finished me completely. I had two choices..to either give up and have everyone die whom I had made dependent on me ( which would have broken my heart forever) or to seek help for the first time in my life. I felt incredible devastated. A facebook friend of mine suggested to contact animal charities and as my own nerves were blank, did so on my behalf. She reached out to 67 global animal charities back then and the HARMONY FUND was the ONLY one at all which immediately had an open ear for my unimaginable huge worries how to keep going. Ever since, all the around 500 stray cats and a few dogs of this rescue get their monthly support from the Harmony Fund. I have to say that without the Harmony Fund, this rescue would not excist anymore since years and all the animals in this circle would have cruely died already 8 years back. Each day anew we are utterly grateful about the support of the Harmony Fund. Its a most amazing charity which additionally has always got an open ear for the often big sorrows and although so busy, always an advise in return.
