My husband and I live in an unincorporated area where a lot of dogs get dumped or otherwise end up lost. I found a dog in terrible condition, and since it as after business hours animal control would not provide any assistance. After reaching out for help via social media, Save-an-Angel responded within minutes and find their way to pick up the dog. They used so many resources to help this pupper, and cared for him until they found a wonderful forever home. This organization not only helps animals, they empower community members like to to respond to animals in crisis because while I can't rehab a sick or injured animal myself, I can intervene and know that there is hope.
