I have been a volunteer with this amazing nonprofit since the early days. The Starks rarely talk to someone without remembering to ask them if they have a loved one who is deployed "in harm's way". When I said, "Yes, my son is stationed in the Middle East, they immediately offered to send his group some care packages as their way of saying, 'Thank you for our FREEDOMS. We know it comes at a great cost and we are SO grateful"'. You will not find a nicer bunch of people than those who have kept The Hugs Project in operation for almost 20 years without 1 dime being paid for salaries.

Simply the best nonprofit listed on this site!!! So proud of what they do for our Military.

The Hugs Project sent my son and his team care packages during 6 different deployments in the Middle East. You can't find nicer more caring people.
