Review for Cochise Canine Rescue, Pomerene, AZ, USA
I have followed Cochise Canine Rescue for several years - being impressed with their commitment and dedication to senior and special medical needs animals. Only recently did I have the opportunity to experience their true commitment and dedication to the animals they serve first hand.
On 4th of July weekend I saw their plea for funding help for a puppy that was found in the desert, apparently attacked by another animal and left for dead. CCR had no hesitation in reaching out to their online followers to make a plea for help for Sprout. This little girl's eyes spoke to me and her story touched my heart so much that I willingly donated to her medical expenses and inquired about adopting her as well, should she survive the necessary surgeries and recovery.
My conversations and communications with Sybil provided me tremendous insight to her total commitment to her mission, and the well-being of all the animals entrusted to her care. The work she and her team does is endless and grueling, but she does it with tremendous zeal and compassion. The community and more importantly, these animals, are so lucky that CCR is there for them.
Sprout's story has a happy ending - I was able to adopt her and she is a happy, healthy and amazing little pup. I'm blessed to have her in my life, and that would not be the case without the love and care she received from many, but especially Cochise Canine Rescue.
