I wanted to share my experience as a single mom who has 3 children. I work full time and still can’t manage to find an affordable place to live. My family has been homeless on and off for several years. I am so glad that Project Hawai’i, Inc. Summer camp is available to the children of the island who can’t afford camp or even child care over the summer. This camp is my children favorite thing in the whole world.
At the end of camp each child gets a backpack and supplies and shoes and clothing for school. I could never afford these things and my children are happy to have nice things for their school
It isn’t easy being in the situation but because Magin and Cliff take their time and energy to make a wonderful camp my children have a great life!
