I visited the Medicine Horse Project to see what it was all about. The Nichols were kind and showed me around and spoke to me about the reason there is such a place. This is an amazing work they do to help others cope with difficult times from their lives. People know they have a place to go to make a genuine connection with another living thing, non judgmental and always happy to see them. The horses seem to thrive after their difficult pasts as well. It so happens that days activity was painting "horses kisses" where we put a non toxic coloring on an apple on a plate, and fed it to the horses. As they moved it around the plate to get a good bite, it created a picture with the slice of apple. Such a cool idea. Definitely recommend YOU come check it out and make a donation too :)
