I am a new resident to Nevada and was a volunteer at another chapter in California. When my family moved from Arizona to California in 1969, my mother found an Assistance League chapter locally and shopped there until she passed!
I LOVE volunteering and this chapter has 400+ genuine (NO PAY) volunteers who truly care. I felt very welcome when joining this chapter!
Our main philanthropic program is Operation School Bell (OSB) where over 8,000 school clothing and supplies were provided to at-risk students from Clark County School District. Assistance League of Las Vegas has other programs that include newborn layettes to local hospitals, backpacks to homeless students and more. There is SO much need in Las Vegas and Assistance League is so generous.
From housewares, clothing, furniture and everything in between, Assistance League is the place to go!
