I was able to attend a recent adoption event which included volunteers, cats and kittens from Town Cats. I was delighted by the knowledgeable and friendly volunteers who gave great information about the cats and kittens they had present. The cats and kittens were in clean and neat cages that were brightly colored and well kept. The temperament of the cats and kittens amazed me as they were easy to handle, comfortable, playful and incredibly friendly. Town Cats seemed to have a great rapport with PetSmart staff, who sponsored the event. I was also impressed with the diversity of the cats, some old and some young. I was able to witness the adoption of an older cat who had been waiting for his forever home for a substantial period of time, and the smiles of the volunteers and family who adopted him. Town Cats does a great job of making sure adoptions are a good match with opportunities to meet and greet cats in a private room with toys, and a comprehensive (yet, not long) application for adoption. They had all of the cat's records and spay/neuter information available at the event. I was very impressed with Town Cats, my experience was delightful.
