I am a caregiver of a heart patient. Mended Hearts provided my husband the support he needed. We couldn't have completed the recovery without Mended Hearts.

My husband Ron Manriquez suffered a major heart attack at age 52. He is now 68 years young. Mended Hearts has been the lifeline we needed to help us through our journey. He had the family history along with other markers that contributed to his heart disease. I have learned a lot from Mended Hearts which I share with family and friends. I also learned that I was a caregiver at one of the Mended Hearts Symposiums. I was recognized for my role in Ron's recovery and appreciated. I am an active member of Mended Hearts. I am proud to be a member of an organization that provides support and education to its members and most importantly "you feel the love" at all Mended Hearts Meetings.
