I have watched GAP expand its services over the past 5 years since I first came across it and have been amazed to see what God has done in and through this amazing ministry! So many people and families have been blessed by all that flows in and out these doors on a daily basis - group homes that allow siblings in foster care to live together and not be separated at such a traumatic time in their lives, a warehouse that supplies non-profits with reduced prices on all kinds of housewares and goods, supervising visits for DCS whose children have been removed from them and the family is working towards reunification, a diner that serves lunch every day and caters all kinds of events, a culinary school giving offenders a second chance at learning a marketable skill, a garage that offers full-service automotive needs and also offers a training component, assists and supports families to become licensed foster parents, and I'm pretty sure I have missed something. If there is a need in the community, chances are that GAP is either meeting it on some level or in partnership with those who are! WHAT A BLESSING!
