I began volunteering @ SAFE almost 4 years ago. I knew I wanted to do something physical and at the same time help animals in need. I hit the jackpot when I found SAFE. This organization is run with the utmost care and responsibility for all involved, horses and volunteers alike. They have an excellent staff that exhibits a breadth of experience and compassion for our horses. Making the tough decisions when they have to, always with the horse’s best interest at heart. It’s such a joy to watch these horses and their transformations, both physically and emotionally. To know that they know, they are now safe and able to live their best lives is a gift I will always be grateful for. I am so proud and honored to be working with such an outstanding organization and group of people. They have changed my life in the best way possible.
