I started volunteering for SAFE almost six years ago. The transparency of SAFE is incredible, one just needs to read the annual reports to get a sense of that. Staff has always been open and willing to share information and explain situations whether it is concerning the care and feeding of horses or related to facilities.

I am so proud to be a part of this organization. As a volunteer I have been supported and encouraged and have a deep sense of belonging and feeling appreciated. It is truly a blessing to be a small part of helping to create so many happily ever afters for equines and humans alike.
