In 1985, our 3 year old daughter was so wild and uncontrollable, I had difficulty finding any daycare for her and her sisters. The pediatrition recommended Ritalin at 4 if her behavior continued in that vein. We started Feingold instead. For 3 wks, every day was worse than the previous one. We all were on the plan so my daughter would not feel separate and alone. The rest of us felt GREAT. We marked each day on the calendar with a big X, counting the days to improvement. Day 20, our 3 year old terror dervish was replaced with a smiling, amenable calm little girl. The detox was complete and the poisonous build up of artificial colors and flavors had left her body. What a difference! Since that day, with only a few exceptions, we've been on the plan. At 36 now, married and a mom herself, she uses the Feingold lifestyle as a life basic. She definitely would have never made it through her teens if we had never found the Feingold plan. I became a Doctor of Natural Medicine to help spread the word.
