I just began volunteering for the Conservancy. I wanted to help a charitable organization that works with animals. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a Pony. The friendliness of this animal was not just amazing, but endearing as well.
As I met the other volunteer staff and Board, I recognized their hard work and dedication to this breed.
It’s not just a matter of saving an endangered species, it’s a matter of saving a species that has kindness, bravery, tenacity, and even humor. The Newfoundland Pony needs a place in our world where it can continue to bring joy to those in need. The Conservancy protects them and ensures the breeds continuance with careful planning, hard work, and patience. Great job for a Volunteer organization!
