My Nonprofit Reviews

I have known sunrisas since the beginning and I have been able to support some of its projects. I love their vision of wanting to make a better world through the education of the children in need. I just went to Kenya, Africa with this nonprofit as a Volunteer, and my experience was incredibly wonderful and life changing. We were volunteering at an orphanage called Sikizana Rescue Center, in a small town in Kenya called Mtito Andei where Sunrisas currently has three projects: the construction of the town's first library in the elementary school; the first Sunrisas preschool; and the improvement of the rooms in the orphanage where we were. This nonprofit truly believes that all children deserve the opportunity to have an education as a basis for a better future and I am really grateful to be part of this.
