Our lives completely changed for the better when we adopted our little girl, Abby, from Heartland Animal Shelter! She only had a few hours to live and Heartland drove all the way out to Lincoln, IL, to save her life! Abby was our first Shelter dog and it is true what they say when you rescue an animal. You can really see the appreciation and love in their eyes as you can tell in Abby’s before and after photos! She truly is/was the best thing that ever happened to us. She passed away this past January 31st and we will never forget her or Heartland Animal Shelter for bringing such happiness to our family! She is deeply missed !
