I saw the mixed reviews on this site so, I decided to investigate for myself. I went down, without letting them know I was coming, and asked to see the facility because I was interested in volunteering. Although they were visibly very busy, I only had to wait a few minutes for a manager to show me around. I have volunteered at many Rescue's across the country and I know and understand what to look for. The animals were all clean and cared for. Some were sick and you could see their care regiment on their treatment charts. The staff was pleasant and no one was goofing off, they were all tending to the animals in their areas. Since my visit, i have stopped by at least a dozen times to help socialize the animals and my opinion has not diminished. This Rescue saves a lot of lives every year and the staff genuinely cares.
