My Mom had Alzheimer’s, and enjoyed holding and petting my little Shitzu mix every time we visited. Walking through Tractor Supply I came across the Paws for Seniors group with their dogs and cats that needed homes. I was immediately drawn to Beau, who was small, quiet, and gentle. To make a long story short... my Dad, who lived in Maryland, spoke to Brenda and submitted an application for Beau. Brenda and Jim drove to my parents’ home to personally make sure it was a suitable living condition for Beau. It was amazing. The care and concern they have for both the pets and their adopters is awesome! This organization is The Best!!
