Review for Philadelphia Children's Foundation, Philadelphia, PA, USA
I volunteered at the Philadelphia Childrens Foundation for three months during the Summer. I helped with a book drive where this non-profit organization donated 1000 books to Dunbar Elementary School. I also helped with the expansion of PCFs career-centered website,which has age-specific pages connecting students to information and activities that fosters success. I went to a resource fair in which we handed out information about PCF so more and more Philadelphia residents can be aware of the helpful resource website PCF has. I also helped with PCF's annual regatta. The regatta was a fundraising event with proceeds going to the expansion of PCFs resource website and towarads the development of outreach programs. Philadelphia Childrens Foundation changes the lives of children, teens, and adults in Philadelphia everyday. I am very happy I had the opportunity to volunteer for them.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
many different ways. I saw how happy the students were at Dunbar Elementary when they found out they were each going to get two books to take home that day.
