I was given the number For the hugs project by a nurse at the VA medical center. I was there one day with my husband who has TBIand PTSD. I was at a loss, I didn't know where to turn, I was alone. No one understands PTSD, and/or TBI. I picked up the phone oneafternoon sitting in the church parking lot waiting for my mom to come out, made an appointment to go in and talk to the leader of the program. she got us in the very next day. 24 hours later, my husband had his very 1st hyperbaric Treatment. He now has completed over 60 treatments, I finally have my husband back. Thank you to the hugs project for helping my veteran to get the help that he needed.
