Our university department has been making cards for Cardz for Kidz for several years now. I also became a part of the advisory board last year. In both capacities I can only say amazing things about this organization. This year I was able to participate in the Cardz with Kidz event at Lurie Children's Hospital twice and it was so impactful to be able to spend time with the children and create unique cards for them. We also got to play connect 4, paint blocks, and sing with them. It was such a unique opportunity and an event that I always look forward to.
