I’m a 73 year old retired man with an extensive background in various kitchen positions. Cooking has been an avocation for 50 years or more.
I’ve been volunteering as a kitchen mentor for 4 months now at the Sebastopol kitchen working with teens who could be out and about enjoying their brief summer break but who have chosen to volunteer their time.
The healthy meals these dedicated teens produce and the skills they exercise benefit many needs of individuals and families in our community.
