Ceres is, simply stated, one of the most remarkable groups I've encountered in a life-time of volunteering and 'being of service.' It is indisputably a huge, virtual lifesaver, for many of its clients who are survivors of life-threatening cancers and other dis-eases. But as if that weren't amazing enough, it teaches teens the joy and value of giving, unconditionally to others, while also training on a usable skill of cooking, kitchen, and service work. Everyone who comes into contact with this fantastic organization is greatly enhanced.
