I have been privileged to experience Operation School Bell during my volunteer opportunities with Assistance League of Las Vegas...I encountered a group of dedicated and caring women, who have been providing children with clothing, toiletries, books and a genuine concern for each child that is dressed with comfort and pride at their selections. My daughter and I experienced first hand the joy of assisting a child shopping. We will never forget the little blonde girl with big blue eyes turn around in the mirror and look at her reflection with a tear running down her cheek declaring that she looked beautiful...she did !! The life changing moments for a child who has a new outfit, new shoes and leaves with a sparkle and a smile has placed a heart stamp on mine forever. Assistance League has been a valuable and needed resource for our community and I feel truly blessed to have the experiences with them throughout my time there.
