Not only does this organization fill a huge resource gap in our community to help provide a safety net for children who have limited access to food at home, it also provides an outlet for the local community to get involved! My middle and high school aged Girl Scout robotics team had the opportunity to volunteer last year and ended their service hours changed and humbled after learning about the depth of food insecurities in our own community. These girls will one day be leaders who rise to challenges in their communities to make a difference.
