Review for St Rita School for The Deaf, Cincinnati, OH, USA
Our son has been at St. Ritas for 11 years, the school district had told us when he was 4 that due to his apraxia, he would be in a program where he would get a certificate of attendence and get work expereince at McDonald's. Thankfully, we found St. Rita's and he is getting an education.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
My child speaks, my child is happy, he has self esteem, he communicates in both sign and verbal, he is in an environment where teachers truly care and the school had the courage to develop a program for children others gave up on.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
1. find funding so every apraxic child in the country could be educated 2. figure a way to better integrate the deaf and apraxic communtities 3. Pay the teachers competitive salaries
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The true concern the school has for each student
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Fabulous-they truly do their job with love .
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Educate apraxic children around the country by training other teachers
Ways to make it better...
Our local school district recgonized the needs of the child instead of their desire for the state money
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Financial strain of the apraxia program, and lack of support by some school districts
