GrantWest Enterprises provides an invaluable service to the youth and young people in our local area. It takes a village to raise a child, GWE is a part of that village providing youth with the necessary tools needed for them to have productive and secure futures. This organization is right there in the classrooms as well as the community at large providing education and preparation to students that encourage and motivate them to do well and make the right choices in life. The organization provides information and instructions on preventing unwanted pregnancies, prevention of HIV, Aides and hepatitis. They also teach job skills, and help build the self-esteem and confidence of our young people. They work to empower girls and young ladies by providing mentoring. The services they provide will lessen the burden on society created by the need for government assistance, poverty, homelessness and incarceration of young people created when they go down the wrong path. The leadership of GWE is geared toward achievement of excellency.
