Lodgepole
Review for Project Medishare for Haiti Inc, Miami, FL, USA
In April 2019 I arrived at Hospital Bernard Mevs as a volunteer nurse for a week. Stacy, who is a RT and wears many hats at the hospital, met me at the airport in Port au Prince. Stacy was welcoming and very helpful during my stay. The housing for volunteers is good, like a dormitory and air conditioned. Breakfast and lunch provided, assistance for dinner is offered.
The emergency room is the department where I worked. The staff was wonderful to work with, Gabriel RN, is one of the most caring, considerate nurses. The needs of the hospital are great, please donate. My only regret is that I don't speak Haitian Creole, I am trying to learn the language because I plan to return!
