Greetings,

I have recently become a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and I'm also the new chapter President at the University of Colorado Denver. For a short while our Chapter had become dormant on our campus; I was recruited and given the wonderful opportunity to be our Chapter President. I took this responsibility on because I saw an opportunity to practice my leadership skills; Me and my fellow officers have had to completely rebuild and re-establish our society from the ground up. We have had to learn our duties and responsibilities from scratch, and I'm proud and honored with all the progress we have made. I'm glad to have Sarah Lawrence, Scott Mobley, and Erica Carlson as our leaders and guides to help make a lot of this possible. We have made a lot of progress in our re-establishment of this chapter. We have set up our induction ceremony, and have come up with a plan of events and activities for our members in the coming years. Also, I'm honored to have the new officers that are active in our chapter; they are a wonderful and ambitious group of people, and I enjoy working with them. We jumped in the deep end, and came up swimming! We see the victory in our sights and look forward to our coming year as officers.
