We got Subi (aka Whitley) on Oct 21st, 2018, and our lives have not been the same since. We picked her out months before we could actually take her home with us, as we had to wait for her to get all of her shots and be spayed.
The volunteers at the shelter were amazing. They took great care of our Subi and loved her as if she were their own until we could bring her home. It was always an adventure to visit her at the shelter because she had so many siblings.
One thing that distinguishes this shelter is they don't just care for the animals, they love them, and it shows. They will not let the puppies leave with just any family. They make certain that you are a good fit for their puppies, and that you can provide them with a loving forever home.
Subi is a sweet girl that loves to bark, chew on sticks, and run around. To our surprise, she also loves the water and swims like a retriever. See the attached video. We got her a sister, Harley, on November 4th. They run, play, and fight just like real sisters.
