Review for The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Hello, my name is Jordan Esperance, and I am the University of Southern Mississippi's National Society of Collegiate Scholars Chapter President. Being a part of NSCS has been a very rewarding experience. I joined NSCS when I transferred to USM. I started off as a general member. I had so much fun and met a ton of new people. I then stepped up and became the Community Service chair, which was something I really enjoyed. It gave me a sense of what it was like to be a leader. I am now the current NSCS USM President, and I plan to help others develop into leaders, while also becoming a better leader myself. NSCS is fun, educational, and a great organization to participate with. We have been giving back to our community and it feels great! This chapter has helped me in an abundance of ways. I have grown as a student, person, leader, and professional. The great leaders before me gave me the knowledge and tools to be the best leader I can be today! It is great to be a part of a team who all have the same goals: strive academically, demonstrate leadership, and provide exceptional community service to our campus and community. Thank You to everyone at NSCS and USM NSCS. And to anyone unsure of joining... talk to your campus NSCS team and get involved. It will be one of your best experiences.
