Review for Panther Ridge Conservation Center, Loxahatchee, FL, USA
My family visited Panther Ridge because our son has loved cheetahs and big cats for several years. This conservation center offered a tour with the head keeper, Sadie, that was exceptional! Her expertise in making sure we got to know each cats' story made this an inspirational and educational experience. It was abundantly clear that these cats are well cared for and loved! Judy, the owner, shared her time with us when we met Charlie, the ambassador cheetah. He was docile and seemed to enjoy seeing my son and his stuffed cheetah, Speedy. My son used his birthday money to adopt Charlie, and he hopes to adopt more of the big cats in the future! We were very grateful to have this experience and would highly recommend visiting Panther Ridge if you are in the South Florida area, and/or consider making a donation or adopting one of their amazing big cats! My son has asked us to frame his adoption certificate and beautiful photograph of Charlie to hang in his room. We will definitely do that very soon!
Review for Angels On Wheels Animal Rescue NFP, Naperville, IL, USA
When my son was almost 7, the only thing he asked for as a birthday gift was a cat. He missed our family cat who passed away a few years before and really wanted to rescue a cat. We visited several shelters and rescues before finding Angels on Wheels. We are so grateful to have found them! An elderly couple surrendered a pregnant cat, Alice, and a vet tech fostered the mother cat and the kitties she had. There were four boys and four girls, so they were named after the Brady Brunch TV show characters. We fell in love with Greg and Peter! We kept their names, and these boys couldn't be cuter! Greg is sassy and playful. Peter is a scaredy cat who loves to cuddle on our laps. Thank you, Angels on Wheels for completing our family!

Each year, our students collect items to donate and write letters to our heroes. We do this around Memorial Day. Our students love to help this great nonprofit!
