I recently adopted two FIV+ cats from Sanctuary One. It was a great experience, from my initial contact through the adoption process. I love that Sanctuary One has a good number of FIV+ cats because I already had one at home, and I knew that they would all be fine together. Christie, the coordinator I worked with was so positive and a real pleasure to work with. She even met me on a Sunday afternoon to meet the cats. I wasn't sure if I was going to adopt one or two, but I spent a good deal of time with them and knew they both had to come home with me. Christie was great answering my questions, and giving me time to hang out with the guys. I never felt rushed. I was happy to get both cats' medical records and knew up front that I was going to be in for a couple of dental checkups with my vet. All of their medical information was given to me up front so there wouldn't be any surprises. I appreciated that the cats were seen by a vet at the Sanctuary on a consistent basis. They seemed to be well cared for and had plenty of space to move around. They had their own house and a catio to go with it! It was quite nice. None of the animals seemed stressed at all which was nice. I'm so happy with my new guys and I would totally go back to Sanctuary One to adopt another cat (or two...).
