Review for Givology, Philadelphia, PA, USA
Joining Givology was one of the most challenging yet valuable experiences of my life. Although there are so many online outlets to promote awareness about the poverty and education issues around the world, it is a great challenge to truly motivate people and mobilize them into action; however, Givology has taken just the right steps to approach donors and volunteers alike so that everyone can see the changes he/she is making and be a part of the movement for change. Just to name a few of Givology's unique approaches: Givology connects the donors to the donees with regularly updated letters and blogs; provides internship opportunities that teaches you the skill of integrating social impact into business operations; and actively engages donors in programs like essay challenges, video contests and local microfundraisers that inspire them to think beyond the initial concept of donating.
