I have had the pleasure of getting to know the family and people that have devoted their lives to Turpentine Creek. Never in my life have I witnessed such dedication and positivity from a group of people. They truly care about the animals they take in their care. The animals they have rescued have come from deplorable conditions and although it seems like the logical move to release them into the wild, it is actually impossible. Go and visit to find out why. Ask any and all questions to the staff members there, because they want to educate the public about these animals. As for the animals, you only have to look at them lounging or playing to know they are happy and comfortable.
