Review for Dignity Freedom Network, Virginia Beach, VA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

We support DFN in their mission to battle the suppression of the Dalits in India. We have sponsored a child, Ajay, for years and have seen him grow and learn about how to be a successful person more and more. We receive three to four letters each year and this year we even had a picture of his family! When I contact DFN, I get a quick response and information that I request right away. It is a shame we cannot communicate in the places in India where the Dalits live like we can here in the US. I will continue to support the DFN in their mission because they are doing a great job!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

by communicating with the child I am sponsoring at least three to four times a year.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

communicate more with the donors through email and let them know what is needed. This would save thousands if not millions of dollars currently being spent on marketing.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

that I can communicate with and see the growth both academically and spiritually of my sponsored child.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very helpful and cooperative.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

make a huge impact on the lives of the Dalit Children.

Ways to make it better...

they could email me the needs of the organization instead of sending me marketing brochures.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

political and financial.

One thing I'd also say is that...

God is with them in all that they do.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010

Role:  Donor & We have been donating to the Dalit Freedom Network for years.
