We have had the pleasure of adopting 2 boxers through Northwest Boxer Rescue. The experience has been nothing short of wonderful. Not only do the teams of volunteers go the extra mile to ensure a good fit for every boxers forever home... they go the next 100 mile’s and then some. Whatever it takes to Rescue a boxer in need, secure a safe and loving home, providing for their medical care and or emotional support is paramount. Many boxers coming into rescue sadly have be neglected or abused or are dire need of medical care. NWBR steps up and is true to their to their mission ‘every Boxer deserves a chance’ I have had the joy of volunteering with just about every team in the rescue from fostering, evaluating a boxer entering rescue, transporting to foster homes of their forever home, over seeing adoptions, reference checking and interviewing potential adopters or fosters family’s, home checks to ensure the boxer will be in a safe, healthy and loving home, working with families that through no fault of their own are in a heartbreaking situation where the have to re home their boxer. Fundraising, NWBR is 100% nonprofit and 100% managed by volunteer’s. It takes a village and NWBR volunteers are filling the desperate need to rescue every boxer they can. Well done guys and gals!!!
