Review for Visible Music College, Memphis, TN, USA
I came to VISIBLE SCHOOL in 2004, looking for a college that would unique and tailored to my specific gifts in music as a Christian. The three years that I spent as a student of VS were life changing. As I was discipled, instructed and loved by the students and faculty I grew into confidence of who I was called to be. There is truly nothing like have the support and friendship of your professors, standing behind you every step of the way. I never felt like a number or just passing through. The community is unlike anything I have ever seen and inspired me to take that with me to whatever church or ministry the Lord calls me to.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The fact that I am a graduate of VISIBLE SCHOOL who works full time as a Worship Leading instructor and as Worship Pastor of a local church.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Provide the funds needed to advertise more to the rest of the country about this amazing college sitting in the heart of Memphis, TN.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Developing a whole new family. Even though I moved 13 hours away from home, I have never felt alone or without people who love me. The relationships I formed at VS will last a lifetime.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Amazing! These are real people. At no point did I feel like we were just saying Christian things or putting on a face. One of the most beautiful things about VISIBLE SCHOOL is the incredible dedication and service that the staff provide the students.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Get the word out! Plus move into the new facility to provide better classrooms and visibility within the city. It could also equip the students with even more learning opportunities through scholarships and other resources.
Ways to make it better...
I would have applied myself even more as a student. While I knew I was in an amazing, one-of-a-kind college, there were times that I simply got too used to it and did not always give my best. However, the faculty were there to hold me up.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Finances. VISIBLE SCHOOL definitely does not have the financial support that it needs. Because of the amazing testimonies an lives changed through this organization there should be a great deal more of support to see it thriving.
One thing I'd also say is that...
VISIBLE SCHOOL is Kingdom-minded. Their goal is to God's Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Music has power to move the emotions unlike anything else. Through music we can stir the hearts of the people of the world to turn their eyes to Jesus.
